October 14, 2013

The New England LWC today announced the Qualifying Totals required for entering the 2014 New England LWC Senior/Open Championships, expected to be held in September of that year. (At this time, there is no qualifying requirement for the Junior Championship element included in this contest, nor for the New England Masters Championships, which will again be held as a stand-alone meet.) Junior lifters are those aged 18 through 20, Senior lifters aged 21 through 34. Youth (formerly known as School Age) athletes, under age 18, may compete as well in the Junior Division.

A Qualifying Total must be posted in a USAW-sanctioned official competition, with Official Results reported to USAW National Office in a sufficiently timely manner that New England LWC Officials can verify them. A copy of these Results must be presented by the athlete (or Coach) to the Meet Director of the 2014 New England Championships event at time of submission of Entry Form. Results may be submitted from following timeframe: From Results of the 2013 New England Championships, which were held Sep. 21 in Danvers, MA to the cut-off date for submitting Entry Form for 2014 meet. (All 2014 meet details To Be Announced as event approaches.) The Total represents the sum of your best Snatch plus your best Clean & Jerk in the given competition.
